Moderating Facebook pages
Adding a Facebook page as a source for your alerts
To add a Facebook page to be scanned, create a new alert or change the settings for your alerts.
On the settings form for an alert, you will see two blocks:
- the "My Facebook Pages” block which lets you add a page you are the administrator for
- the “Other Facebook Pages” block which lets you add a page you are not the administrator for
Collecting posts and comments
Our search engine will gather into your Alerti account all the posts and comments posted on the Facebook pages you have added, independent of the keyword for your alert.
You can also create alerts without a keyword, without adding any other source (blogs, forums, etc.), but only Facebook pages to be scanned, without specifying a keyword.
Interacting on Facebook
When you are on the results page for your Facebook pages, you will see the following to the right of a post or comment:
- Respond, which lets you respond to a comment or a post. Your response will be posted directly on Facebook.
- Delete, which lets you delete the comment or post from the Facebook page
- Ban user lets you ban the author of the post or comment from your Facebook page
Interacting on Facebook is only possible on the pages that you have added for which you are an administrator.
